Meghann Peterson

Meghann is an August 2009 graduate of the Naturopathic Institute of Therapies and Education in Mt. Pleasant. As part of the Therapeutic Bodyworks Practitioner program, she studies massage therapy under a variety of instructors with different experiences and techniques from which to learn. In addition to massage therapy, this program included lymphatic drain massage, nutrition, aromatherapy, Bach flower remedies, functional normalization, anatomy/physiology, reflexology, meridian work, and energy work (Light Healing Touch). Meghann is also a May 2009 graduate of Central Michigan University with a major in vocal music and a minor in psychology. While studying music, she became familiar with the Alexander technique and learned the impact that proper body mechanics, alignment, and posture can have on a person's well-being in the long-and short-term. Meghann is passionate about her work and uses these tools to create a massage designed with the patient in mind.
